Not getting the results you were hoping for? Check out these tips.

• Results are too broad or irrelevant. Type in the full names of the band and song.
  e.g. "Guns N Roses" NOT "gnr"
  
  
• On the other hand, Results are too narrow.
  • Be less specific with the song title.
    e.g. "Sweater Song" NOT "Undone (The Sweater Song)"
    
    
  • Remove punctuation! This includes: ' ` ! . ,
    
    
  • Doublecheck your spelling! Please do this, because incorrectly spelled song/band titles not only return few to no results, but also clog up our database with unwanted data.
    e.g. Red Hot CHILLI Peppers (Chili only has 1 L)
    
    
  • If the results page loaded almost instantly and the song is very new, you can try uncaching the results. To do this, on the search results page, click the button "uncache and re-search." What this feature does is delete the results that have been stored (from a previous search) in our database and then repeat the search anew.
    
    
• Really unsure about how to spell the song or band names?
  Try a google search, and see what spellings turn up.
  
  
• Aside. Searches are case-insensitive.
  e.g. "Enter Sandman" EQUALS "ENTER SANDMAN" EQUALS "enter sandman" (BUT DOES NOT EQUAL "entersandman")
  
  
• Aside. You may omit leading the's.
  e.g. "offspring" EQUALS "the offspring"
